New items at EPCOT + more in my mid-week Disney dining news recap
Here is this week's recap of vegetarian and other Disney dining news, including new and returning menu items at EPCOT and Magic Kingdom!
The updated menus keep coming at Walt Disney World. Both EPCOT and Magic Kingdom added some new and returning items.
Oh, and if you were a fan of the S’mores Bar available at Beach Grub during this year’s EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival, you can now find it for $5.49 at Regal Eagle Smokehouse in the American pavilion at EPCOT!
Let’s get to this week’s mid-week Disney dining news (and more) recap!
Disney Vegetarian News
Cosmic Ray’s Starlight Cafe in Tomorrowland at Magic Kingdom updated its plant-based Patty Melt. The Impossible burger is now topped with plant-based cheddar, grilled onions, and asteroid sauce. Previously, it was topped with plant-based Swiss, pickle slaw, and asteroid sauce. While this new version sounds good, I really loved the former and a little bummed about the change.
The BBQ Fries are no longer available at Regal Eagle Smokehouse in EPCOT. They’ve been replaced with Brewmaster’s Fries that come with seasoned fries topped with beer cheese sauce for $6.49. I loved the BBQ Fries, so this is disappointing. I plan to try the replacement fries in August, so stay tuned for my review.
Fourth of July treats are available now to July 5 at Disney World (with the exception of one that is currently offered beyond July 5).
There are several new and returning treats now available at EPCOT and Magic Kingdom.
A few of the vegetarian options include: Jumbo Pretzel with Obatzda Cheese Dip at Sommerfest, Peruvian Salad at Connections Eatery, Caprese Sandwich at Sunshine Seasons, and Cheese Flatbread at Sunshine Seasons, to name a few.
There are new treats at Typhoon Lagoon and Blizzard Beach…
DOLE Whip Watermelon with Chamoy and Chili-Lime Spice at Snack Shack at Typhoon Lagoon: DOLE Whip Watermelon topped off with chamoy and zesty chili-lime spice
Soft-serve Cookie Sandwich at Happy Landings Ice Cream and Snack Shack at Typhoon Lagoon: Vanilla soft-serve sandwiched between two chocolate chip cookies and rolled in chocolate sprinkles or rainbow sprinkles
S’mores Churro at I.C. Expeditions at Blizzard Beach: Churro pieces topped with graham cracker crumbs, marshmallow whipped cream, chocolate sauce, and toasted mini marshmallows
